The month of March has ended for the DBA. All series are in. Here's a recap ...
We have four players with 8 HR thru March: Bonds, Ortiz, A-Rod and Khalil Greene? Greene is having a monster month for ARK with 17 hits and 20 RBI in 17 games. ARK has also been powered by Fielder's 20 RBI, but Kotchman (OTT) leads the league at 23.
Over on the pitching side, another ARK player, Johan Santana is tied with Gorzelanny (CDC) for the league lead with 4 wins apiece. That's rather impressive for both hurlers as ARK only has 10 wins and CDC just 9! Hoffman (WHW) and Putz lead in saves with 5 apiece.
Best record: OTT 15-4; Worst record: LAS 2-16
If the playoffs were today, ARK, FFF, QUI and RBC would be BR representatives and OTT, LEB, BDD and ILL would represent the CY. But, there is still plenty of baseball to be played!
Thirteen (13) waiver claims were used in the month. That seems a bit high to me. I thought that April would be the big month, after we saw a month of MLB. But, I guess teams wanted to jump on players early. We will see what April holds!

DBA March Coming to a Close
March is nearly completed with 127 games in the books. Only 14 series are outstanding at this time. The Apostles are playing great ball, going 10-5 and in competition in the BR - Gibson. Three DBA teams have won 12 games so far, with Ottawa's 12-2 record standing out the most. It appears OTT is on its way to steamrolling the DBA. While, LAS is on its way to not steamrolling the DBA at 1-13.
We had a bit of a rocky start with the multiple LZP's floating out there at one time (my fault). That shouldn't continue into April, as there will just be one LZP posted. All stat updates will be on the 2008 Standings link only.
