Racers 5 Whitecaps 3

In a another disappointing loss the Caps looked horrid as the runs were in
short supply. The management does believe however the team has showed signs
of coming out of its slump. Varitek continues to throw out runners. And
Carlos guillen contiues to hit well. AJ Burnett is an ace starter......

In a good matchup it was the Elkhart Lake Racers 5, the West Huron Whitecaps 3
at Siebkens Park (06).
 
Elkhart Lake brought 3 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 2nd inning
when they had 4 base hits.  They would prove to be the difference in the
contest.  Elkhart Lake finished with just 6 hits in the victory.  
 
A.J. Burnett(1-0) went 7 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory.

the loss.
