Racers 5 Whitecaps 3

The Whitecaps are offensively challenged they cant seem to hit but at time can
pitch with the best of them.Jered Weaver was remarkable in his performance,
Kuroda was up to the task but just walked to many.

Orlando Cabrera jacked one out of the ballyard and had 3 RBI at Siebkens Park
(06) as the Elkhart Lake Racers beat the West Huron Whitecaps 5 to
3.
 
Elkhart Lake tallied 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning with the help of 3
hits.  The critical plate appearance was by Cabrera who brought the crowd to
their feet when he slapped a base-hit which was good for two runs.  Both
teams ended up with 10 hits on the afternoon.  
 
Jered Weaver*(1-0) got the win allowing 2 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings. Francisco
Rodriguez was credited with his 2nd save.  The losing pitcher was Hiroki
Kuroda(0-4).
