The Whitecaps pulled this one out of the hat,botttom of 9 Beltran HR's, Berkman
strikes out,Dye then walks,Hoffman k's Dobbs,Lewis strokes a single to lf with
the winning run at the plate and Cabrera flies out to rf making this manager"s
gray that much faster.....:)

In a close game the West Huron Whitecaps got by the Elkhart Lake Racers by the
score of 4 to 2.
 
Jesse Litsch(1-1) pitched a solid game.  He was reached for 5 hits and no
walks in 7 innings lowering his ERA from 3.65 to 3.13.  West Huron had just 6
hits for the afternoon.  
 
Trevor Hoffman was credited with his 4th save. The losing pitcher was John
