The Saint Gabriel Apostles tallied 7 runs in the 2nd inning and had an easy
time of it at GMJ Memorial (07) defeating the West Huron Whitecaps by a score
of 14 to 9.
 
Miguel Cabrera enjoyed a big evening at the plate.  He doubled which was good
for two runs in the 2nd inning and lost the ball over the fence for three
runs (his 29th of the season) in the 7th inning.  Saint Gabriel banged out 17
hits on the night.  
 
The win was credited to Kevin Correia(1-0) who went 4 and 2/3 innings allowing
no runs. Buddy Carlyle(1-3) was charged with the loss in relief.  He was
knocked around, surrendering 6 runs in 2 innings.
