Placido Polanco had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the West Huron Whitecaps defeated
the Saint Gabriel Apostles 10 to 4 at GMJ Memorial (07).
 
Tim Redding(6-12) pitched a solid game.  He was reached for 7 hits and 1 walk
in 8 and 1/3 innings improving his ERA from 5.14 to 4.91.  West Huron had
many opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.
 
Greg Maddux(4-12) took the loss.  He was not very effective, surrendering 8
runs in 5 and 1/3 innings.  The West Huron ballclub's record now stands at
47-73.  With the loss, the Saint Gabriel ballclub's record is 47-70, worst in
the division.
