Carlos Guillen cracked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and Vicente Padilla completed
the game without help from the bullpen as the West Huron Whitecaps defeated
the Saint Gabriel Apostles by the score of 14 to 7 at GMJ Memorial
(07).
 
Guillen enjoyed a big evening at the plate.  He lofted a three-run bomb in the
3rd inning and cracked a two-run shot (his 9th of the season) in the 5th
inning.  West Huron provided plenty of action in the 6th inning when they had
4 runs on 5 hits.  West Huron banged out 21 hits on the night.  
 
The win was credited to Padilla(2-1) who went the whole way allowing 7 runs.
Jamie Moyer(7-13) was hit with the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 9 hits
and 2 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
