In a game for the baseball purist, Randy Wolf(13-6) and Jeremy Sowers(2-5)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, indomitable Denver Strokers finally
emerged victorious over floundering Cleveland Buckeyes, 3 to 1.

In the bottom of the 2nd inning Denver scored 2 runs with the help of 3 hits.
That scoring would be all that was needed. Denver finished with 7 hits in
the victory.

Brian Fuentes was credited with his 22nd save.
