Six Pack, 2010 Lottery-Grade Rookies ...

Matt Wieters (BAL) -- Tall and strong catcher with impact-type bat producing above average power and batting average from both sides of the plate. Possesses plus arm strength, a quick release and receiving skills, but could use cleaner footwork in blocking pitches and setting up throws ... 23 yrs old ... 333 PA ... 287/336/406 ... Potential -- Excellent Power and Batting Average, Average Defense, Below Average Speed

Dexter Fowler (COL) -- Plus athlete who began tapping into power with his excellent bat speed and plate discipline. Hits better from right side due to better contact ability, but overall, was able to hit for good batting average. Runs bases with plus speed, and is outstanding defensively with plus arm strength and range ... 23 yrs old ... 464 PA ... 271/373/414 ... Potential -- Excellent Speed, Above Average Defense and Power, Average Batting Average, Range 2 in CF with -2 arm.

Travis Snider (TOR) -- Strong and muscular hitter with plus bat speed and power to all fields. Batting Average unlikely to be high due to high strikeout rate and aggressive approach, but can hit pitching of all sorts. Heavy lower half leaves him with little speed or range, but does have arm strength for corner outfield ... 22 yrs old ... 228 PA ... 232/316/404 ... Potential -- Excellent Power, Average Batting, Below Average Defense, Poor Speed, Range 3/4 in OF with -1 arm.

Colby Rasmus (STL) -- Streaky bat, but has the bat speed and smooth hitting mechanics to hit for both batting average and power. Runs well, and sports excellent range and arm strength in CF ... 23 yrs old ... 470 PA ... 258/309/425 ... Potential -- Above Average Power, Speed, Defense and Batting Average, Range 2/3 in CF with -3 arm.

Tommy Hanson (ATL) -- Tall and athletic pitcher combines velocity, plus command, and a solid groundball/flyball ratio. Extends late and generates downhill plane, which keeps ball down and gives deception. Confidence in comps and sustained velocity led to improvement and just needs to make adjustments quicker ... 23 yrs old ... 19 GS/113 IP ... 1.23/2.86 ... Pitches -- Above Average Fastball (92 mph), Above Average Slider (83 mph), Average Curve (74 mph), Average Change (82 mph)

David Price (TB) -- Tall and lanky pitcher with explosive fastball and nasty slider that he commands and misses bats. Slurve and change-up are average and has the quick arm action to derive movement. Repeating three-fourths slot isn't always done consistently ... 24 yrs old ... 21 GS/116 IP ... 1.39/4.42 ... Pitches -- Excellent Slider (85 mph), Above Average Fastball (93 mph), Average Slurve (78 mph) and Change (83 mph)
