The Caddis would tie it in the bottom of the frame on a pair of singles and a wild pitch. However, aggressive baserunning by Saint Gabriel lead to two runs in the 4th, making it 5-3. The Apostles would tack on 4 more runs, three on Carlos Lee's 20th HR of the year. |

Designated hitter Carlos Lee had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Saint Gabriel
Apostles beat the Rio Brazos Elk Hair Caddis by a score of 9 to 3.
The Rio Brazos fans didn't appreciate the big day Lee had. He slapped a
base-hit in the 3rd inning, banged out a single in the 5th inning, slapped a
one-base hit in the 7th inning and lost the ball over the fence for three
runs (his 20th of the season) in the 8th inning. Saint Gabriel finished with
15 hits while Rio Brazos ended up with 10.
The victory went to Carlos Silva(9-13) who went 5 innings, allowing 3 runs.
Livan Hernandez(4-8) ended up with the loss. He was knocked around by Saint
Gabriel, allowing 14 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings.
