SP Jeremy Bonderman, 1M, CDC

Bonderman is under contract until 2012 at 8.17M per year.  When healty, he's a potential ace, which is what CDC is betting on by taking a 1M gamble.  I didn't expect Jeremy to get a bid at all.  In the February Auction, there are 4 more potential "aces" up for grabs.

Duchscherer (FFF): 22 GS, 1.00 whip, 31 yrs old

Cliff Lee (OTT): 31 GS, 1.11 whip, 30 yrs old

Rich Harden (RID): 25 GS, 1.06 whip, 27 yrs old

Kuo (FA): 3 GS {80 IP}, 1.01 whip, 27 yrs old

I wouldn't be surprised to see all of these players getting 4+ year deals in excess of 9M per year.
