MAY comes to a close ...

The month of May has come to an end. All of the results are in. Teams have played about 32% of the season, 51 games.

BSK leads the BR-A at 26-25. The rest of the division is fading fast, with ARK being the nearest competitor at 20-31. If BSK stays at or above 500, it should have it wrapped up before the September stretch gets here.

FFF has an even more impressive 7G lead in the BR-W. FFF is one of four teams (BAY, JSC and OTT) on a 100+ win pace. Fairfax is doing it with pitching, allowing a DBA-low 3.76 runs per game. RBC is second at 28-23, and knocking on the Wild Card door, just 2G out.

The tug-of-war continues in the BR-M. Now, BAY has a slim 2G lead over QUI. BAY has the leagues top offense, plating 5.75 runs a game. QUI isn't far behind at 5.65. A-Rod and Big Papi continue their personal battle for the BR-MVP as well.

QUI (30-21) leads RBC and BBM in the BR Wild Card race.

In the CY-K, OTT expands its lead over ELR to 15G. OTT, the DBA's only 40G winner at this point, leads the DBA in runs at 6.80, and is second to FFF in pitching, averaging only 3.80 runs given up.

CDC leads the CY-G at 30-21. CDC is second in the league in offense with 5.71 runs per game. LEB is just 3G back at 27-24.

JSC leads the CY-J by 8G over BDD. JSC is 32-19 while BDD is fading at 24-27. Jacksonville (Lehigh) is averaging 5.61 runs.

LEB now leads the CY Wild Card by 2G over a surging ELR squad. BDD and ILL had May collapses to see them fall under 500 for the first time. WHW is creeping into the hunt at 24-27. A solid month by any of those six teams will put them in the driver's seat going into the second half of the season.
