while the Ridgecrest Rattlers scored 7 runs in an evening game at The Snake
Pit (08).
 
Pelfrey earned his pay with a solid performance for Ridgecrest. He was reached
for 6 hits and no walks in 7 innings.  Ridgecrest rapped out 9 hits for the
night.  
 
Fausto Carmona(6-2) absorbed the loss.  He gave up 7 hits and 2 walks in 6
innings.
