I have recently added the total contract values to the rosters on the AutoDraft site. That's not the CAP for this year, its the total "sunk cost" for each player. Its just a reference to see how much a team has paid for a player's current and future services. The original 16 teams started with 400M value. When we expanded to 20, those expansion teams basically "took" 80M from each team, reducing the average value to 320M. After contraction this year, organizations absorbed those two teams, thus value increased to around 355M. Value increases/decreases with trades. Value decreases with buyouts and waives. Value increases with bonus monies (playoffs, awards, etc).
