Pre-Auction Standings Predictions ...

Now that we have looked at both sides of the SOM coin, lets translate it into projected standings :-).  I have taken the rankings for hitting and pitching and put a WL figure to it.  Let's see what happens!

Babe Ruth - Aaron

Altenberg -- 86-76

Denver -- 77-85

Bloomington -- 72-90

This should be a good race!  HSD and ALT will be fighting tooth and nail all year for the division title.  If they don't beat each other up in the process, the "loser" should be in the WC hunt as well. 

Babe Ruth - Williams

Rio Brazos (WC) -- 87-75

Y-D -- 84-78

Cleveland -- 75-87

Burmese -- 74-88

Looks like a three-tier division here.  Fairfax appears to be the clear favorite, while RBC and YDL will be fighting for #2 and quite possibly the wild card.

Cy Young - Koufax

Elkhart Lake -- 95-67

Ottawa -- 88-74

Ridgecrest -- 72-90

West Huron -- 66-96

Elkhart is the team to beat in the Cy Young.  The roster is nearly complete and of very high quality.  Ottawa will be in the WC hunt and will threaten ELR all year.  I can see this division coming down to the wire.

Cy Young - Gibson

Lehigh Valley -- 90-72

Saint Gabriel (WC) -- 89-73

Normandy Lake -- 76-86

Carbondale -- 75-87

Lebanon -- 64-98

Looks like another tight race for the Gibson.  However, LVP has CAP room and TREAS to spend; ILL doesn't.  A couple of nice FA pick-ups and the Iron Pigs could challenge the Racers for the "best in the CY" title.
