Short Stops at the Auction

So you are looking for someone that can fill in as your short stop?  Here's some information you might want to consider when placing that bid.

10 (Tejada, Castro, Reyes, Santiago, Bartlett, Punto, Pena, Everett, AybarE, Vizquel) have a range rating of 2.
11 have a range rating of 3.
30 have a range rating of 4.
None have a range rating of 5.

Two are full-time (600+ PA).
21 are part-time (300-599 PA).
28 are bench players (less than 300 PA).

Average age of available ss -- 31.5 yrs
Average PA of available ss --- 309 PA

Hairston is a FrRFA, so he will be on a team before the auction.

These rankings reflect my own crazy formula, tweaked yearly, that calculates the offensive and defensive value of a player's card and assigns a number to it.  I like good steal ratings and good running ratings.  All BP ratings were at 1-10.  And, if I had any TREASURY monies this year, you probably wouldn't be seeing this list :-).

Its going to be a three-man race between Reyes, Tejada and Bartlett. Reyes gets the big bucks, say 7/70. I think Tejada gets a short deal, high CAP, say 3/26. And Bartlett gets a long deal, low CAP, say 6/30.
