Javier Vazquez took a no-hitter into the 6th inning at Ganzee Stadium (02) as
the West Huron Whitecaps beat the Burmese Blood Monkeys by the count of 7 to
0.
 
Vazquez(6-2) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the
Burmese batters.  He surrendered only 3 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings
lowering his ERA to 1.87.  The right-handed Vazquez lost his no-hit bid when
Nick Johnson singled with two outs in the 6th inning.  West Huron had 13 hits
for the night while Burmese had 4.  
 
Hiroki Kuroda(0-1) took the loss.  He was knocked around pretty good, giving
up 6 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.  West Huron continued their winnings ways
improving their record to 28-19.  They are 8-2 in their last ten games.
Burmese continued their losing ways and their record is now 15-23.  They are
0-10 in their last ten games.
