At Citizens Bank (08), the Lehigh Valley fans witnessed a great pitcher's
duel. Daisuke Matsuzaka(10-9) finally bested his Normandy Lake opposite,
Ricky Nolasco(9-13), by the score of 2 to 0.
Matsuzaka pitched well for Lehigh Valley in their victory. He allowed 3 hits
and 3 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings. Matsuzaka recorded 7 strikeouts. Lehigh
Valley had only 4 hits for the afternoon.
Joe Nathan was credited with his 25th save. Nolasco ended up with the loss.
He was the victim of a defensive lapse and did not allow an earned run in the
game.
