The Homer Salty Dogs had very little trouble at Fishermans Mem (08) downing
the Cleveland Buckeyes. The score was 8 to 1.
Brian Bannister(2-3) delivered a fine performance for Homer. He surrendered 7
hits and 1 walk in 6 and 2/3 innings lowering his ERA to 4.93. Homer ended
up with 13 hits for the game while Cleveland had 9.
Jarrod Washburn(3-6) was given the loss. Although losing the contest, he
whiffed 9 batters in 6 innings. The Homer ballclub's record now stands at
80-64. With this loss, Cleveland has a 5-5 record of late, 57-87 overall.
