First baseman James Loney went yard and had 3 RBI as the Normandy Lake
Landsharks topped the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs by a score of 8 to 2 at
Citizens Bank (08).
 
Normandy Lake wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning when they
tallied 3 runs on 2 hits.  That was all the offense they were to need.
Normandy Lake out-hit Lehigh Valley for the game, 13 hits to 5.  
 
The victory went to Ben Sheets(5-12) who went 5 and 2/3 innings, allowing 2
runs. Aaron Laffey(2-1) was the loser.  He was unable to control the Normandy
Lake offense and allowed 11 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.
