In a one-sided affair the Carbondale Dog Catchers batters pounded the West
Huron Whitecaps pitchers for 11 runs while Joe Saunders(2-2)with support from
the bullpen held West Huron to 1 run.
Saunders gave Carbondale a solid outing. He went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing
11 hits and no walks reducing his ERA from 4.74 to 4.15. Both teams finished
the game with 11 hits.
Tim Redding(1-5) suffered the loss. He pitched 6 innings allowing only 4 hits
and no walks.
