Placido Polanco had 2 base hits as the West Huron Whitecaps defeated the
Lebanon Lugnuts by the score of 6 to 2 at Auto Zone Stdm (06).
 
West Huron wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning scoring one
runner.  West Huron had a total of 7 hits for the game.  
 
Justin Verlander(7-2) went 6 innings allowing no runs for the win. Johnny
Cueto(2-4) was charged with the loss.  His biggest problem was control as he
allowed 5 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings.
