Matt Garza hurled a fine complete game shutout as the Carbondale Dog Catchers
defeated the West Huron Whitecaps 3 to 0 at The Kennel (03).
 
Garza(7-1) gave Carbondale a solid outing.  He gave up just 7 hits and 2 walks
in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 2.02 to 1.73.  Carbondale totaled 8 hits
on the night.  
 
Javier Vazquez(1-6) was hit with the loss.  He allowed 3 runs and 7 hits in 6
and 1/3 innings.

the dog catchers were a couple of rolls from losing this one...........
