Justin Verlander blanked Normandy Lake in a very well-pitched complete game at
Sundrop Stadium (08) as the West Huron Whitecaps beat the Normandy Lake
Landsharks 4 to 0.
 
Verlander(5-2) was tremendous on the mound for West Huron.  He was stingy on
the mound, allowing just 4 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to
1.83.  After the 2nd inning, neither team was able to score.  
 
Ben Sheets(2-3) was the losing pitcher.  He pitched 9 innings giving up 7 hits
and 3 walks.
