Left fielder David Murphy connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI and Jesse
Litsch came through with a solid 6 innings as the West Huron Whitecaps beat
the Saint Gabriel Apostles by a score of 5 to 3.

Litsch(4-3) was very good in the win. He was stingy on the mound, allowing
just 2 hits and no walks in 6 innings reducing his ERA from 3.50 to 3.19.
Saint Gabriel threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.

Carlos Zambrano(3-5) was hit with the loss. Jieff Shaver was beaming after
the game, 'Not only were we making good contact, but a lot of balls we hit
seemed to have 'eyes'! I just love winning these tight ones! It was just our
evening - no doubt about it!'
