Ted Lilly delivered 9 solid innings and Torii Hunter went deep and had 2 RBI
at Alamo Field (09) as the San Antonio Alamos beat the Saint Gabriel Apostles
7 to 2.

In the 2nd inning San Antonio scored 4 runs. That scoring would be all that
was needed. San Antonio banged out 9 hits on the afternoon.

Lilly(8-5) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Johnny Cueto(3-7)
was hit with the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 6 runs in 5
innings.

'He had his 'A' game today,' John Garcia said of Lilly. 'Very impressive
performance.'
