The Burmese Blood Monkeys ended a long winless drought and defeated the league
door-mat Saint Gabriel Apostles by a score of 4 to 1 at Ganzee Stadium
(02).
 
Charlie Morton(1-2) gave Burmese a solid outing.  He was reached for 3 hits
and 3 walks in 7 innings.  Burmese finished with 7 hits while Saint Gabriel
ended up with 3.  
 
Guillermo Mota earned his 1st save.  Joba Chamberlain(2-6) was tagged with the
loss.  He allowed 6 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.  The win by
Burmese was very good news as they had been 1-9 of late.  Now their seasonal
record improves to 32-45.  With the loss Saint Gabriel now has a record of
23-51, worst in the division.
