At The Dam (04), the Ottawa faithful were treated to an intriguing pitcher's
duel. Rich Harden(7-1) finally bested his Saint Gabriel counterpart, Kyle
Lohse(0-7), by the score of 3 to 0.

Ottawa took the lead off Lohse in the first inning scoring one runner using 2
hits. After an out was recorded, Robinson Cano doubled. Todd Helton was
next and he doubled. Ryan Braun was next to the plate, but was promptly
struck out. Adam Lind was a strikeout victim, unable to help out. The early
run support proved sufficient for Harden and Ottawa. That was all the run
support Harden required. Saint Gabriel was out-hit by Ottawa, 9 hits to 4.

Mariano Rivera got the save, his 19th. Lohse took the loss. He was unable to
control the Ottawa offense and allowed 7 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 2/3
innings.

The win by Ottawa was very good news as they had been 2-8 of late. Now their
seasonal record improves to a division leading 46-19. Saint Gabriel can't
seem to snap out of their recent 'funk'. Now they have a miserable 1-9
record over the last couple weeks.
