In a lop-sided win the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs ripped the Denver Strokers by a
8 to 3 count.
In the 2nd inning Lehigh Valley went on top for good as they scored 2 runs on
2 base hits. Overall Lehigh Valley out-hit Denver 10 to 6.
Jeremy Sowers(2-8) went 6 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Scott Baker(6-7)
took the loss. He gave up 6 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings of work. Lehigh
Valley now has a record of 35-43. With this loss, Denver has a 5-5 record of
late, 45-33 overall.
