At Alamo Field (09), the San Antonio faithful were treated to an intriguing
pitcher's duel. Javier Vazquez(11-2) finally bested his San Antonio
counterpart, Jonathan Sanchez(2-6), by the score of 2 to 0.

West Huron came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 8th
inning scoring 2 runs on 3 hits. After an out was recorded, Clint Barmes
opened up the rally as he ripped a base-knock. Barmes got a great jump and
stole second easily. Chone Figgins then delivered a single. West Huron
continued their aggressive style with another stolen base. Rajai Davis came
to the plate and doubled. Both teams ended up with 6 hits on the afternoon.

Fernando Rodney was credited with his 13th save. Sanchez was the loser. He
surrendered 6 hits and 3 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
