The Homer Salty Dogs had an easy time of it at Fishermans Mem (08) defeating
the Saint Gabriel Apostles by a score of 10 to 3.
 
Homer came up with 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning with the help of 3
hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Marco Scutaro who made the Homer
fans a happy lot when he delivered a single which was good for two runs.
Homer rapped out 11 hits for the afternoon.  
 
The victory went to Joe Blanton(4-8) who went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs.
Johnny Cueto(3-8) suffered the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 9 hits and
5 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.  
 
Homer now has a record of 38-47.  With this loss, Saint Gabriel has a 5-5
record of late, 28-57, worst in the division overall.
