Second baseman Chase Utley ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Randy Wolf went
the distance as the Denver Strokers defeated the Scarlett Letters by the
score of 8 to 1 at Launching Pad (08).
Utley enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He hit a bases-empty home run in
the 3rd inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the
7th inning. Denver banged out 12 hits on the night.
The winning pitcher was Wolf(7-7) who allowed 1 run for the game. Brad
Penny(3-7) absorbed the loss. He surrendered 5 runs and 8 hits in 6 innings.
