Jorge Posada cracked a homer and had 2 RBI at Launching Pad (08) where the
Denver Strokers beat the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs by the score of 7 to 3.

In the 2nd inning Denver scored 4 runs with the help of 4 hits. That early
run support was enough for Wandy Rodriguez(7-3) and Denver. Lehigh Valley
had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

Kevin Slowey(1-7) ended up with the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 10 hits
and 2 walks in 4 innings. 'It was a tough one to lose' said Jim Hauseman
'We'll get them next time out.'
