In a close game it was the Fairfax Fighting Falcon 7, the West Huron Whitecaps
5 in 11 innings at Falcon-Forbes (08).
 
The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings.  Fairfax ended up
winning it in the 11th inning.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Alcides
Escobar who made the crowd happy when he lost the ball over the fence for
three runs.  Fairfax rapped out 11 hits for the night.  
 
Matt Thornton(2-0) allowed no runs in 2/3 of an inning, and picked up the
victory. The loss was charged to Fernando Rodney(2-3) in relief.  He
surrendered 4 runs and 1 hit in 2/3 of an inning.

This really sucks.......
