Ridgecrest Rattlers won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over West Huron Whitecaps at
The Snake Pit (08) pulling it out in their last at bats, 2 to 0.
 
Ridgecrest came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning with 2 runs
utilizing 2 base hits.  Ryan Zimmerman kicked off the action when he
delivered a one-base hit.  Magglio Ordonez followed, but he was set down on
strikes.  James Loney then bombed a two-run dinger resulting in a mighty
exciting win for Ridgecrest and the 48,967 home town fans in attendance.
Ridgecrest had just 6 hits for the night.  
 
The winning pitcher was John Grabow(1-1) who allowed no runs in 2 innings.
Chad Durbin(0-1) was charged with the loss in relief.
